Doctor Kaushal Tewari
Dr Kaushal Tewari is the Technical Officer responsible for the Plant Physiology/Biochemistry laboratory and instrumentation (CN analyzer). Kaushal came to the Institute in Jan 2010 after the completion of her PhD at the Niigata University, Niigata, Japan. Prior to taking up this position, Kaushal worked at Niigata University, Japan as a research officer for 2 years , then came to Australia and started working as a casual researcher at Centre for plants and Environment before taking up this job.
Kaushal earned her PhD in Plant nutrition from the School of Natural Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Niigata University, Japan under the supervision of Prof. Takuji Ohyama. Her PhD thesis explored the nitrogen fixation and metabolism in soybean plant with various nitrogen fertilization and different soil conditions.
