  • a clear intention of applying for Bachelor of Science (Honours) supervision within the Institute or Higher Degree Research enrolment within the Institute
  • funding available

The Award shall carry a tax-free stipend of $3,000 to be paid via two instalments over the tenure of the Award. At the discretion of the nominated supervisor, the first instalment will be paid to the student at the commencement of the assignment and the final instalment will be paid at the completion of the assignment. The level of the stipend will not be reduced during the period of the Award.

Applications for HIE Summer Scholarships will open again in early December 2013.
