Time
01:00 pm - 02:00 pm
Location
Campbelltown Campus

Address (Room): CA-30.G.213

Description

Dr Nathan C. Shaner from San Diego's Scintillon Institute will be presenting on his research which focuses on expanding the base from which to engineer useful new fluorescent proteins (FP) variants from reef corals, including those with properties optimized for live-cell biomedical research and super resolution imaging. Investigations into the structure of some of these newly-cloned FPs are helping to guide the development of these advanced genetically encoded tools.
