Digital Blacksmith Workshop

Practical hands-on and upbeat workshop for creative people that have or have not used 3D CAD and it will focus on the potential that 3D printing offers within the creative process – turning attendees into Digital Blacksmiths. The workshop will introduce 3D modelling software Sketchup Make – a free interactive 3D design software for creating 3D models that can subsequently be 3D printed and Solidworks for advanced CAD users. The intended outcome is to provide the experience and knowledge to become a Digital Blacksmith, including 3D printing and other practical and creative processes involved.
