Description

Western Sydney University invites researchers and students to attend our one day 3D printing workshop. (Please note that this is a repeat of our 2014 workshop). We all know 3D printing has the potential to help us with research work, but the how, where and why for each specific researcher is a much more involved question. Our practical, hands-on and upbeat workshop is for creative people, regardless whether they have or have not used 3D CAD before. It focuses on the potential that 3D printing offers within the creative process – turning attendees into Digital Blacksmiths. The workshop introduces the 3D modelling software SketchUp – a free interactive 3D design program for creating printable.
