Final Sessions

Final Sessions is an annual student run night of music held at the Playhouse Theatre, Kingswood Campus on Wednesday, 5th June and brought to you by the University of Western Sydney, School of Humanities and Communication Arts.

It is a celebration of the end of Autumn semester and an opportunity for UWS student musicians to showcase their emerging talents and perform original music to a live audience, which will later go onto to be screened on the local community television station – TVS. This event represents a collaboration between music, media arts production and final year design students.

Final Sessions appeals to spontaneous and free participation open to individuals or ensembles and musical institutions to give both amateurs and professionals the opportunity to express their musical talent. Each of the performances feature talent from amongst the UWS student body, showcasing the awesome talent coming out of this institution. This year’s Final Sessions is sure to be a success showcasing the musical talents of Bonniedoon, Helmut Uhlmann, Jade Riordan, Joseph Mark, Mellow Fellows, Set To Shine & Ska’d 4 Life. With a strong mix of genres (pop, rock & electro), the musical tastebuds of all viewers are sure to be pleased.
