- Description
- Heartbeat is a series of events and activities for Indigenous students, focused on health, medicine and related sciences. It aims to raise students’ awareness of health issues, inspire some of them to aspire to careers in medicine or health-related fields, and present the university as a place for them. 'Heartbeat: keeping pace' is for year 4 and 5 students. The day will include an introductory session followed by four different fun and educational activities. Students will investigate: The Human Heart, The Human Skeleton, Oral Hygiene, Physical Fitness for Life and Food for Thought.
