Heartbeat is a series of events and activities for Indigenous students, focused on health, medicine and related sciences. It aims to raise students’ awareness of health issues, inspire some of them to aspire to careers in medicine or health-related fields, and present the university as a place for them.

'Heartbeat:'signals and signs' is for year 5 and 6 students. The day will include an introductory session followed by four different fun and educational activities. Students will investigate Water Quality, learn basic First Aid, discover what can be found in our food and see some Marketing tricks used in food and beverage advertising.
