The Office of Equity and Diversity and the Ally Network at UWS host an Open Forum on homophobic bullying. 

Homophobic bullying is an issue that affects all of us. The statistics and consequences of this type of bullying are alarming, particularly for young people who identify as LGBTIQ.

Come and take part in this forum, hear personal stories, get the facts, and find out what you can do about homophobic bullying.

Daniel Witthaus is a gay rights advocate and education activist with an extraordinary mission to eliminate homophobia in Australia; Professor Rhonda Craven is Director of the Centre for Positive Psychology and Education (CPPE) within UWS, which is ranked 7th in the world in educational psychology and 1st in Australia; Jayde Ellis is the School & Education Coordinator for Wear it Purple whose message is simple: “You have the right to be proud of who you are”.
