Honeywell Engineering Summer School
Date
6 December 2012
Location
Description

This event is coordinated by Engineers Australia and brings together Year 11 students who are interested in pursuing Engineering as a career from regional and city centres throughout NSW and the ACT. Previous years have seen students gather from Broken Hill, Tumbarumba and Inverell.

UWS will host these students at Kingswood campus during one day of their program, and they will be given the experience of what it is like studying Engineering at UWS. They will participate in many hands-on activities, such as a bridge building competition, fun with microcontrollers and have the opportunity to be involved with using specialised equipment.

The day will be packed full of fun and will expose students to the full range of discipline areas offered in Engineering. The Honeywell Engineering Summer School (HESS) is an initiative supported by Engineers Australia - Sydney Division, Honeywell, NSW Engineering Universities and participating Rotary Districts.
