People are now starting to make ethical choices about their transportation, energy consumption and what they eat. But have you taken the time to think about shopping ethical for clothes? Have you considered buying second hand and refashioning an item to suite your own style and personality?

The Office of Sustainability will be holding a series of workshops that will assist you in making these changes and helping to reduce the amount of clothing that goes to landfill.

Come along and learn how to turn your unwanted or out-of-date fashion into a new creation. No sewing experience necessary. Workshops will at Bankstown Campus on 16th May running for around 1 hour.

RSVP to Helen on h.angelakis@uws.edu.au as spots are limited. You will need to bring a sharp pair of scissors, 1.5 metres of elastic and a couple of oversized t-shirts to cut up. Workshops are free for UWS staff and students.
