Dr Sahdra will be presenting "Conflicts and Harmony: Factors Within Affecting Factors Without"

Abstract: Dr Sahdra will present her studies on individual differences and situational factors affecting conflicts and harmony at the intergroup, interpersonal and intrapersonal levels. At the intergroup level, she will present data showing the link between group identification and memory of historical intergroup conflicts.

At the interpersonal level, she will present her research on ways to promote harmonious relations. At the intrapersonal level, she will present evidence regarding introspective routes to strengthening self-regulation and adaptive socioemotional functioning. The talk will also illustrate how factors at the intrapersonal level can affect conflicts and harmony at the interpersonal and intergroup levels.
