Description

On behalf of the University of Western Sydney (UWS), the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH), and the United Nations Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCE), we would like to invite all local residents of the Hawkesbury-Nepean and Blue Mountains areas to a community forum hosted by UWS.

The purpose of this forum is to gauge what local places matter to these local communities. Part of this process will be to identify priority environmental issues, develop potential projects and link interested groups with the resources and seed funding (~$1000-$2000) needed.

The forum is being held on Saturday 24th November (9.30am- 3.30pm) at the UWS Hawkesbury campus. Morning tea and lunch will be provided. We will also have free parking available on campus, and we are in the process of organising a shuttle service (with details to come).

The invitation flyer has been attached, and we encourage you to share it amongst your own networks. Please feel free to contact Alicia Kasbarian if you have any questions on a.kasbarian@uws.edu.au .
