Research report launch and exhibition

The End of life at home: Co-creating an ecology of care report highlights the needs of carers, service providers and dying people who wish to spend their final days at home. The accompanying exhibition of photographs taken by research participants, is an evocative illustration of the journeys of dying people, carers and community members. The primary focus of the study has been to understand what it takes for people to die where they choose, 74% of people state that they want to die at home, yet only about 16% of people do so. How can the best care possible be given to a dying person?
