  • Monday, April 15, Lecture 1: “The Politics of Public Things: Neoliberalism and the Routine of Privatization”
  • Tuesday, April 16, Lecture 2: “What Kind of a Thing is Land? Between Cultures, Between Times”
  • Friday, April 19, Lecture 3: “Going Through the Motions: Ceaseless Work and the Reduction of Publicity to Emergency”

The lecture series will run from 6pm to 7:30pm, and will include a drinks reception from 5:30 to 6pm.

The Sydney Lectures in Philosophy and Society are organised by Philosophy@UWS, a research group within the School of Humanities and Communication Arts. The lectures are organised in conjunction with partners ABC Radio National and the State Library of NSW.

UWS Chancellor Professor Peter Shergold will officially launch the lecture series on April 15.

Speakers: Bonnie Honig, Sarah Rebecca Roland Professor of Political Science at Northwestern University and senior research professor at the American Bar Foundation in Chicago
