Federal Magistrate Tom Altobelli will introduce the guest speaker of the night, The Honourable Justice Ian Coleman, Family Court of Australia.

Prior to his appointment in 2006, Tom was Special Counsel to Watts McCray. He remains an Adjunct Professor in the UWS School of Law.

Justice Coleman was Commissioner of the Australian Law Reform Commission from 1993–2002 and Judge Advocate of the Australian Defence Force from 1992–1997. Since 1999 he has been a Judge of the Appeal Division of the Family Court of Australia. Ian will share a wide range of his observations on the law from 38 years at the Bar and on the Bench.
