This year's Yarramundi Music Club End of Year Musical Celebration is a very rare opportunity not to be missed.
The event will feature the unique sounds of Sing-Cronicity World music, with the talented Llew Kiek and Andy Busuttil mastering multiple instruments including acoustic and electric guitars, tambura, bozouki, oud, baglama, Madora and chittara.
Llew was recognised in 1999 as instrumentalist of the year at the Australian World Music Awards and since has won two ARIAS.
The Yarramundi Music Club are also privileged to present Bukhu (Mongolian Throat Singer and Horse Head Fiddle Player). A cultural ambassador of his country, Bukhchulum Ganburged (Bukhu) performs the folk music of Mongolia, with a contemporary take on the tradition of Mongolian bards of the middle ages and those of ancient times.
Also performing on the night: The Flying Stonehenge, Hawkesbury Song Company, and Irish Balladeer, Martin Horan and Shindig.
Come and join staff and students for a BBQ prior to the Concert, starting at 6:00pm.
This event is supported by Hawkesbury Campus Life Committee and UWS Connect Hawkesbury.
