Seminars
The next ICS Seminar Series will be held on August 29, 2pm - 4.30pm, at Parramatta Campus (opens in a new window) room EB.3.33. Speakers are Melinda Cooper from the University of Sydney and Tony Bennett from the Institute for Culture and Society. Melinda will speak on ‘Experimental Postsocialism’ and Tony will speak on ‘Expanding Liberal Government: Anthropology, Aesthetics, Culture’.
Transnationalism, Diaspora and Identity: Post-Conflict Refugee Heritage and Place Making in Western Sydney
On August 15, the Institute for Culture and Society and School of Social Sciences and Psychology at UWS will host the Transnationalism, Diaspora and Identity: Post-Conflict Refugee Heritage and Place Making in Western Sydney workshop.

The Institute for Culture and Society together with the School of Social Sciences and Psychology at UWS, will host the 11th Dangerous Consumptions Colloquium on December 12 and 13, 2013.
