The Institute has the largest concentration of research academics in this field in Australia. Led by its Director, Distinguished Professor Ien Ang, and Research Director, Professor Tony Bennett, its membership of over 45 researchers includes 18 professors, with a balanced research profile incorporating mid- and early career researchers, post-doctoral fellows and adjunct appointments and over 50 Higher Degree Research candidates.
