Before you receive your iPad, you will need to complete some important steps:
- Complete your course enrolment by visiting Starting Out (opens in a new window) and following the steps.
- Ensure you have collected your student ID card at Student Central on any UWS campus (Note: to collect your student ID you need to bring your student ID number with you, as well as a current driver's licence, passport or other photo ID).
- Read and agree to the iPad Terms and Conditions in MyUWS (Student Portal) (opens in a new window). The icon will appear in the top right corner if you are eligible.
- Visit Apple ID Support (opens in a new window) to create your Apple ID and complete the recommended steps before you receive your iPad. An Apple ID is the login you use for just about everything you do with Apple, including using iCloud to store your content and downloading apps from the App Store. If you have already set up an Apple ID for another Apple device or service, you can use this for your iPad. If you need to create an Apple ID and do not have a credit card or iTunes Gift Card redemption code, visit the Apple ID support page (opens in a new window) for creating an Apple ID without a credit card.
