Apply for a Position at UWS

The University’s Director of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment and Engagement can assist with employment enquiries from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants and the UWS community.

Some of the positions in UWS are identified Aboriginal and Torres Strait positions and must be filled by candidates of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage (authorised under section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW). If you are an applicant for such a position you will be asked to provide confirmation of your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage. Only applicants who have established Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status will be considered for selection into these roles in accordance with the University of Western Sydney Recruitment and Selection Policy.

The Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment and Engagement will assist in clarifying suitable declarations or statements.
