The UWS Office of Indigenous Employment and Engagement has now been renamed the Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment and Engagement.

The UWS Office of Indigenous Employment and Engagement has now been renamed the Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment and Engagement.

UWS recognises key dates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples during the year, such as NAIDOC, Sorry Day, and Reconciliation week on each campus. 

In 2010, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment and Engagement at UWS will continue to grow and prosper with many innovative and challenging programs and events.

This follows the decision of the University of Western Sydney Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Board to make the same name change.
