AirUWS - the original

The original AirUWS is no longer available

As previously advised, UWS has reviewed its wireless network coverage and as a result, has decommissioned the original AirUWS network.

UWS continues to provide on campus, free, wireless coverage to students and staff via the AirUWS-Lite network.

AirUWS-Lite, a technically simpler version of the original AirUWS network, allows a greater number of devices to connect to the wireless network including tablets, PDAs and wireless-enabled mobile phones. ITS is continuing to improve AirUWS-Lite by extending wireless coverage zones and increasing capacity in high demand areas. This includes upgrading existing access points with the latest technology and installing approximately 200 new access points.
