April 2013 Maintenance Weekend

The April IT maintenance weekend has been successfully completed.

ITS would like to thank the UWS community for your understanding and patience while we performed this vital work. Thanks are also due to the diligent staff who participated in the extensive planning process and/or worked through the weekend to ensure the maintenance weekend was a success.

ITS believes that all systems that underwent maintenance have been restored to normal service. If you are experiencing any issues related to UWS IT systems please contact the IT Service Desk on 02 9852 5111 (ext 5111).

2013 Maintenance Weekends

Following consultation between ITS and the University community, ITS can now announce the approved IT maintenance weekends for 2013:

  • 10 pm Fri Apr 12th - 7am Mon Apr 15th (Restricted*) Completed
  • 10 pm Fri July 5th - 7am Mon July 8th (General#)
  • 10 pm Fri Sept 20th - 7am Mon Sept 23rd (Restricted)
  • 10 pm Fri Dec 20th - 7 am Mon Dec 23rd (General)

* Restricted

  • Minimal disruptive activities are scheduled
  • Libraries will remain open as normal

# General

  • IT systems will not be available
  • Libraries have agreed to close
