Cancellation and Transfer
In order to maintain accurate billing information, could you please log a job with the IT Service Desk for any of the following changes.
Cancellation of mobile numbers
If a mobile phone number is no longer required, please log a job with the IT Service Desk to have the mobile number disconnected. Please quote 'Mobile cancellation'.
The handset should be returned to the IT Accounts team, Building G7.G.28 Hawkesbury campus. Please state the name of the user and if the phone is still usable or is broken.
Change of mobile user details
If a mobile phone is given to a new user or the cost centre changes, please log a job with the IT Service Desk and quote 'Mobile change of details'.
Transfer of mobile number from the UWS account
If you are leaving the the University and have permission to take your mobile number with you please log a job with the IT Service Desk and quote 'Mobile transfer from UWS', and attach email approval from your head of school (stating the number is no longer required). Please log the job at least 2 weeks before departure stating your exit date and preferred date of transfer.
Transfer of mobile number to the UWS account
Please log a job with the IT Service Desk and quote 'Mobile transfer to UWS' when a new staff member wishes to transfer their mobile number to UWS. Details needed are the mobile number, network e.g. Telstra, Vodafone or Optus, does the mobile belong to the individual or the previous employer?
