UWS International Exchange Scholarship
The University of Western Sydney has a range of exchange opportunities with partner institutions in countries including the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Scandinavia.
As a full-time student, you can complete a semester or a year of your course overseas and have the results credited towards your UWS degree. At various times, UWS will offer different forms of financial support. This support may be offered by the International Office or by UWS Colleges.
Eligibility
Continuing UWS students.
Courses
- Any full-time undergraduate degree
Benefits
$2,500 for one semester.
Duration
One-off payment.
Criteria
Applicants must:
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia
- be in their second or subsequent year of undergraduate study at UWS
- be officially nominated as an endorsed exchange candidate by the International Office

Application and Selection Process
There is no formal application process for these scholarships. You will automatically be considered for a UWS International Exchange Scholarship when you apply to go on the UWS Student Exchange Program.
Selection will be made on the basis of meeting the minimum Grade Point Average of 5 (credit average) and/or equity considerations. Scholarships will be awarded to the top ranking students each semester. Notification to successful applicants will be by student e-mail.
Conditions
This scholarship may only be granted once to any student.
