Confirm your Pathways credit

How to confirm my Pathways credit

Confirming your Pathways credit is as easy as following these 4 steps:

  1. Accept your offer and enrol in your course on MySR

Complete all steps up to selecting your units by following the 8 Essential Steps until step 3.
You should wait until your credit is confirmed before selecting units (subjects) at this point as your credit may form pre-requisites or prior learning for enrolling in more advanced units.

  2. Select your key program (if applicable). Key programs can be located under unit sets on MySR.

If your course requires you to select a key program you must do this before your credit can be confirmed. All Bachelor of Business and Commerce students confirming pathways credit must select a key program.

  3. Locate and write down your Pathways Application Code

Your Pathway Application Code is available on the Pathways website.
Located in the table under the heading 'Pathway code' on the web for your specific pathway. Make sure you select the correct code for the qualification you studied.

  4. Log into the MyUWS portal and select the e-forms link on the left hand side of the page.

  5. Select and complete the Pathways Credit form online and an email will be sent to your student email account confirming your request.

Your pathways credit will be processed as quickly as possible but please allow up to seven days. Check your student email account regularly during this time as an email confirming your credit has been processed will be sent to you.

Once you have received this you need to continue the 8 Essential Steps, starting with Step 3 Plan your course. You should attend an Academic Advising session if you are not sure what units to enrol in. Make sure you take a printout of your pathway credit details as shown online.

If you did not have confirmation that your VET course was complete at the time you received your offer you may need to supply proof of your completion to UWS before your Pathways credit can be processed. If this is necessary, an email requesting this information will be sent to your student email account.

The importance of the 8 Essential Steps

The 8 Essential Steps cover everything you need to do to be ready for uni. Make sure you complete every step before uni starts. The steps are easy to follow and it's best to complete them in order because you'll need to have completed some steps before you can do others.

You'll need to complete steps one and two before you confirm your Pathways credit. Once you've confirmed your credit following the steps above, make sure you return to the 8 Essential Steps and finish them.
