Commonwealth Supported Places

UWS offers Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) (opens in a new window) for local students in Undergraduate Bachelor degrees. This means the Australian government contributes to the cost of the students fees and the student is required to pay the remainder.

The amount a student is required to pay depends upon the discipline area in which the student is enrolled. Discipline areas are divided up into Student Contribution Bands.

Eligible students are able to defer all or part of their student contribution through the HECS-HELP (opens in a new window) loan program. If students choose to pay their student contribution up front they may receive a HECS-HELP discount (opens in a new window).
