UWS Innovation is responsible for the protection of the discoveries of researchers and the establishment of partnerships with investors.
Our academic community operates in a culture that recognises the value of commercialisation to both the community and industry. The team develops and delivers training in IP to UWS staff and students and engages in commercialisation initiatives.
UWS Innovation works closely with inventors to develop an intimate knowledge of their research directions and commercial potential, thus enabling both research and commercialisation goals to be achieved.
The team also facilitates the provision of external access for researchers and industry to the University's cutting edge research equipment.
