The Ion Exchange Lactose (IEL) purification  (opens in a new window) technology allows for the purification of lactose from whey permeate in dairy processing plants and has been licensed non-exclusively to Novasep (opens in a new window).

Qcide (opens in a new window) is being developed as a new, environmentally friendly treatment for household and agricultural pests. Developed as part of a research collaboration between UWS, Southern Cross University (SCU) and Bioprospect Ltd, the intellectual property has been assigned exclusively to Bio-Gene Technology (opens in a new window), which has worldwide rights to the technology.
