Payment Methods
New International Students
New International students do not receive a Student Fees Account before paying their first semester fees. Therefore, these are the available payment methods for New International students:
- By Cheque. You can pay by cheque made out to University of Western Sydney, payable in Australian Dollars. Please write your name and Student ID number on the back of your cheque.
- Telegraphic transfer: You can transfer your payment to the University's bank account. The University's bank account details will be included in your International Offer Pack [PDF 644Kb] (opens in a new window). Please ensure your bank includes your name and Student ID number in the telegraphic transfer description
- Credit Card: You can pay by MasterCard or Visa by completing the Credit Card Payment section in your International Offer Pack [PDF 644Kb] (opens in a new window).
All new International Students must send their acceptance, confirmation of enrolment request, and payment to:

Continuing International Students
Please note that these payment options are for Continuing International Students only. New International students do not receive a Student Fees Account before paying their first semester fees.
1. Internet payments (iPay)
Students can pay their Tax Invoice, Student Fees Account and other university fees (e.g. field trips) and charges at the iPay site
Payment options include:
- pay now online by Visa or MasterCard
- pay later by BPay or POSTbillpay.
Pay Now Use your Visa or MasterCard to pay via the National Australia Bank secure internet payment system. The university does NOT have access to your card details as these are provided directly to the bank.
Pay Later You will be issued with an Internet Order which can be paid by the methods described below
2. BPAY (Credit and Debit Card)
Please contact your participating financial institution to pay your Tax Invoice, Student Fees Account or Internet Order from your cheque, savings or credit card. Quote Biller code 52217.
3. Pay by Phone (Credit Card)
Please call 13 18 16 to pay your Tax Invoice, Student Fees Account or Internet Order. Have your credit card details and Payment Reference Number ready. Quote Billpay code 2106.
4. In person at Australia Post (Cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card or Cheque)
You can pay your Tax Invoice, Student Fees Account or Internet Order in person by Cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card or Cheque at any Australia Post Office. You must show your Tax Invoice, Student Fees Account or Internet Order for your payment to be processed.
5. By mail (Cheque)
You can pay your Tax Invoice, Student Fees Account or Internet Order by cheque. Attach the tear-off payment options slip at the bottom of your Tax Invoice, Student Fees Account or Internet Order to your cheque and mail to:
