Short Courses for UWS students studying internationally
Short courses are for students who would prefer to study internationally during the summer or winter break.
Short courses are perfect for students who;
- want to try international travel for the first time and would prefer to do this for a shorter period than a semester or year.
- have family or work responsibilities
- are enrolled in a course at UWS that may limit or restrict studying internationally during semester periods.
Short courses – tuition fees paid to UWS and not the Host University. Units are mainly offered in June and July but may also be offered in December and January.
UWS students are responsible for the cost of airfare, housing, meals, and incidentals. Students should make sure they are registered through UWS International to finalise travel and health insurance coverage.
Unless the courses listed are for language study, they are taught in English.

UWS has an agreement with ISEP which allows its students to study at many more sites worldwide. The ISEP program has specific administration and application procedures. However, academic credit procedures are the same - ensuring full credit at UWS for units earned through ISEP. UWS Students may choose short courses indicated by either an I or D. Note that I offerings mean that a UWS student pays HECS or international fees to UWS, and D means that a UWS student pays fees as listed on the ISEP website directly to ISEP. UWS students are not eligible to undertake offerings indicated by an E. Application deadlines are flexible but are generally due to UWS by mid-March. |
