Orientation Program - February Intake (Autumn Session)

The UWS International Orientation program is specifically designed for international students. It usually takes place 10 days before classes commence and all international students are invited and should attend! Please make sure you arrive in Australia at least one to two days before the commencement of the Orientation program.

Orientation & Enrolment for Health and Science: Thursday, 16 February 

For all students studying in a health or science related area of study:

  • Engineering courses
  • Environment and Built Environment courses
  • Forensics courses
  • Health Sciences courses
  • Nursing courses
  • Medicine course
  • Science and Natural Science courses
  • Sport Science courses
  • Natural Science
  • Information Technology and Computing courses

 

Orientation & Enrolment for Arts, Business, Law and Study Abroad & Exchange: Friday, 17 February 

For all students studying in a business or arts related area of study:

  • Arts and Humanities courses
  • Business courses (all undergraduate courses and postgraduate accounting only)
  • Communications Arts courses (includes Media and Music)
  • Languages, Interpreting and Translation, TESOL courses
  • Law courses
  • Policing and Criminology courses
  • Psychology courses
  • Social Science courses
  • Teaching and Education courses

Academic Advising Sessions have also now been renamed My Course Planning Sessions and will be held on the same day as the Orientation Days on Thursday 16 February and Friday 17 February. 

International students already studying in Australia will also have the option of attending their My Course Planning Day along with local students from Tuesday, 7 February, 2011.
