About your offer

Offer of Admission
If your application to UWS is successful we will send you an Offer of Admission (or Conditional Offer). This will:…

  • mention the course into which you have been accepted,
  • indicate the fees - including the annual course tuition fees (fees are subject to change) and compulsory Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) fees that are payable, and 
  • advise you of the course commencement date.

An offer letter from the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) may be issued to international students if an application has been made via UAC International. The information above will also be outlined in your UAC offer.   

Once you have received an offer from UWS or UAC, accepting your offer is easy!  

Conditional Offer of Admission
A Conditional Offer of Admission may be made when an applicant has applied for a formal course of study and has not met the academic and/or English requirements for admission.

A Conditional Offer of Admission will indicate the conditions that you have to meet to be granted a full offer.

If you have not yet met UWS’s academic and/or English requirements:
We will advise you of any requirements that you may need to meet before you can be formally accepted into the course. A final Offer of Admission will only be made when the applicant provides the University with full documentary evidence of final academic results and/or certified evidence that English Language requirements have been satisfied.

If you enrol in an English Language program you must ensure that you complete your English Language program before commencing your studies at UWS. All results must be submitted to UWS International before your studies commence at UWS.

If you do not meet the UWS entry requirements:
The University will advise you by letter if your application is unsuccessful. If you do not meet UWS entry requirements your application will be automatically assessed for pathway programs offered by UWSCollege.

Packaged Offer of Admission
A Packaged Offer of Admission may be granted to an applicant who does not meet the required academic and/or English language entry criteria.  The Packaged Offer will include an offer to study a relevant pathways program at UWSCollege and a conditional offer to study a formal course at UWS.  You will need to successfully complete the relevant pathways program with appropriate grades before you can be formally accepted into the UWS course.
