Career Profile

Dr Laura Horn is a Senior Lecturer in Planning and Environment Law, Dispute Resolution and Civil Procedure and Law of Associations at the University of Western Sydney. Her key area of research is international environmental law. She is very interested in the development of legal principles in international environmental law and in key legal instruments concerning climate change. She has published a number of refereed articles in journals on environmental law issues.

Awards and Recognition

Award of Doctor of Philosophy in 2001 for the thesis entitled “The Common Concern of Humankind and the Legal Protection of the Global Environment”.
