Our congratulations go to the following nominees from UWS who were selected to receive Carrick Institute Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning, 2006.
The successful nominees from the University of Western Sydney are:
- Ms Lee Zakrzewski, Dr Rosalind Bye, Dr Catherine Cook, Dr Annie McCluskey, Ms Julia Bowman - Sustained contribution to engaged health student learning through innovative curricula, assessment and self directed approaches to life long learning that has been formally recognised.
- Ms Barbara Alysen, Ms Asha Chand - For sustained commitment to vocationally-oriented, ethically-informed student learning and industry engagement by undergraduate journalism students.
- Dr Josephine Milne-Home - Design and implementation of strategies to enhance student engagement through authentically aligned assessment strategies that foster independent learning and professional outcomes.
