Important Information

The submission date for Round 1, 2014 OLT grant proposals is November 2013. OLT has not yet released information and guidelines for the 2014 scheme, however staff who are interested in developing proposals for November are advised to acquaint themselves with the 2013 guidelines (opens in a new window).

The OLT Grants programs comprise:

Innovation and Development 

Innovation and Development Projects support research, development and innovation related to the enhancement of learning and teaching in higher education.  The program covers a wide range of priority areas, including assessment, curriculum renewal, student diversity and internationalisation.

Leadership for Excellence in Learning and Teaching

Leadership for Excellence projects build leadership capacity in ways consistent with the promotion and enhancement of learning and teaching in contemporary higher education.

Seed Projects

Seed Projects provide for pilot projects which test and evaluate an original idea.  Applications can address any of the priorities in the Innovation and Development or Leadership for Excellence programs, or any other topic.  More details are provided in the information documents for these programs.
