The Teaching Development Unit (TDU) is an academic service unit providing a range of programs and services to enhance learning and teaching and the quality of e-learning environments at the campuses.
The TDU fosters learning and teaching improvement, developed within the context of strong partnerships and engagement with staff within Colleges and Divisions, and reflecting the strategic directions of the University. Support for the development of postgraduate supervision practices is provided in partnership with the Office of Research Services and the Colleges.
The TDU enables staff professional development in all aspects of learning and teaching, and academic career planning, through a program of workshops, through collaborative curriculum projects with College and School groups, and through self-access resources and reference material.
The TDU also contributes, through its research and scholarship, to institutional development, and provides leadership and mentoring to develop pedagogical scholarship within the University and beyond.
More information about the Teaching Development Unit can be found in the About TDU section.
