UWS Outreach campus Lithgow offers a range of courses and programs that are in direct response to the employment needs of the Lithgow Local Government Area and national skills gaps, which will ensure that graduates will have the skills to secure employment locally, regionally and nationally.

University Foundation Studies Program

The University Foundation Studies Program is designed to introduce you to the knowledge and skills you will need for university and also provides pathways into UWSCollege Diploma Program and into the first year of the corresponding UWS undergraduate degree.

The following University Foundation Studies Programs are being offered in 2014:

  • Arts (for students wishing to study Arts, Humanities, Social Science, Psychology, Education or Languages)
  • Science (for students wishing to study Science or Engineering)

Diploma Program

The Diploma Program offers you a fantastic opportunity to gain two valuable qualifications — a diploma and a degree. It gives advanced standing of one year into the second year of the corresponding UWS undergraduate degree program.

The following diplomas are being offered in 2014:

  • Diploma in Arts (part-time)
  • Diploma in Engineering Science (full-time).

Associate Degree Program

Designed as a complete award, the Associate Degree in Engineering provides engineering professionals seeking a tertiary qualification with the opportunity to support their career development or a pathway to a higher-level university qualification.
