Jennifer Jacobs

Biography

I completed my undergratuate degree, BA/Psychology (Hons), at Macquarie University in 2006. My Hons project examined the the effect of rewards on intrinsic motivation in the workplace, and factors which affect this relationship. I have enrolled part-time in a PhD at the start of 2009 at UWS in population mental heath under the supervision of Prof Beverley Raphael and Dr Sally Wooding.

Grants / Current Projects

I am currently assisting on a project funded by Australian Health Management. It involves reviewing the burden and costs of mental illness in childhood, developing projections models of potential implications for burden of disease in adulthood including positive and negative developmental trajectories, and assessing the potential human and economic savings of the implementation of effective prevention and treatment in early childhood.
