Biography
Professor Jones was Dean of the UWS School of Medicine from September 2009 until May 2011. She had previously been appointed to the University of Newcastle as Professor of Medicine and Clinical Toxicology, she spent eight years in several leadership positions, including Director of the National Poisons Information Service (London), and Head of Medicine at London’s Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital.
She was recently appointed as a director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), one of Australia’s premier research centres on strategic and defence policy issues.
