Bankstown Lidcombe hospital

The UWS School of Medicine has relationships with a series of hospitals around South Western Sydney.

 


  • Bankstown/Lidcombe Hospital - Students undertake placements at Bankstown Base/Lidcombe Hospitals in Medicine and Surgery.
  • Bathurst Hospital - The Rural Clinical School is housed at Bathurst Hospital, and students undertake a 12 month immersive placement.
  • Blacktown Hospital
  • Campbelltown and Camden Hospital - The Macarthur Clinical School is housed at Campbelltown and Camden Hospital.
  • Fairfield Hospital - UWS students undertake placements for their Obstetrics and Gynaecology attachments at Fairfield Hospital. 
  • Lismore Hospital - Students undertake a 12 month immersive placement.
  • Liverpool Hospital - A number of academic teams engaged in clinical service delivery are based at Liverpool Hospital and also researching as part of the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research. The areas of clinical service delivery and research include Medical Oncology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Pathology, and Surgery. Students undertake placements at Liverpool Hospital in Medicine and Surgery.
