Symposium Registration is now open
The University of Western Sydney is once again proud to support the annual UWS Sensory Neuroscience Symposium. Now in its third year, the meeting is a fixture on the Australian neuroscience calendar. We hope you will join us in a relaxing environment, chatting with colleagues about all things sensory. The Symposium opens with a Keynote Lecture on "Sensory processes: practical applications in neuroscience" by Prof Rob Shepherd of Bionics Institute, Melbourne, followed by 16 invited speakers presenting in four consecutive sessions: Vision, Auditory, Olofactory and Somatosensory. We encourage poster presentations.
Morning and afternoon teas, lunch and evening canapés and drinks are all included in the registration, and there will be plenty of time to interact. We look forward to seeing you at UWS!
Registration
Registration is required for all those attending the symposium. Please register online by Friday 30 November. In addition, all those presenting at the conference (speaker and poster presentations) are required to submit their abstract online by 26 November.
Location
The meeting will be held at the UWS School of Medicine, Australia's newest research-intensive Medical School. This is located on the Campbelltown campus, a 45 minute drive or 60 minute train ride from central Sydney.
Building 30, Goldsmith Avenue, Lecture Theatre 213 Campbelltown campus.
Program
The UWS Sensory Neuroscience Symposium includes 16 invited speakers from around Australia, presenting their latest work on tactile sensation and proprioception, visual and auditory neuroscience, the vestibular system and the chemical senses.
