Mental Health and Wellbeing Team

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Team is part of the Office of People, Equity Safety Wellbeing Portfolio. We are professionally qualified practitioners working to systemically support the Western Sydney University Community. Our Mission is Support Staff, Supporting Students.

Our work is grounded in the Wellbeing and Mental Health Strategy.

We use a strengths-based model of practice that prioritises a person-centred approach, safe community model, cultural wellbeing framework, and health promotion principles. The Mental Health and Wellbeing Team values collaborative partnerships, community engagement, capacity and resilience building, self-determination, and academic progression.

Our work includes Cultural Community Engagement, Workshops/Training, Resources, Student and Staff Support, Campaigns/Promotions/Events and Integrated health and wellbeing across Western Sydney University. Find out more below:
