Have you recently completed high school? As you are no longer a Year 12 student, you are considered a non current school leaver when applying for university. Your application to study will be assessed on four criteria:

  • NSW HSC or equivalent
  • TAFE or Tertiary studies
  • Work Experience
  • Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)

Each criteria will be given a rank out of 100, and the highest rank will be used for you to competitively gain entry to a course.

If you have more than five years work experience you may be eligible for Postgraduate Study (opens in a new window) at UWS.

Or, if you are currently in your final year of High School, you may consider applying for courses commencing in 2013.  Applications will open in August 2012. Visit the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) (opens in a new window) closer to the date for more information.

Your Application Steps:

  1. Search the Areas of Study and Courses to find a course of interest to you.
  2. Consider the course fees at the Study Assist website (opens in a new window)
  3. Find out about student life at UWS
