Be Prepared

Be prepared by knowing about alternative pathways to UWS, for example:

• UWS College provides students with a secure pathway to their chosen UWS degree upon successful completion of their course at the College. At the completion of a Diploma or Foundation Studies pathway, students progress into first year of university.
  
• UniTrack gives you the opportunity to enrol in individual units from a wide range of degrees. When you’ve completed the subjects, apply through UAC with an increased chance of getting into your chosen course.
  
• Vocational Education and Training (VET) Pathways have been developed for in conjunction with Community Colleges, TAFE and Private Colleges. If you are completing a Certificate IV or above and UWS has a pathway, then your qualification can count toward your UWS degree.

At the UWS Course Decision Day, you can discuss all of the recognised pathways above, and other opportunities to be credited for your prior learning with our friendly admissions staff.
