Honours
Completing an honours year in the School of Nursing and Midwifery is a challenging and satisfying experience that creates career opportunities in both academic and clinical settings. The Honours course is an opportunity to plan and implement a research project or a systematic review of existing literature under supervision. During the course you will gain skills in writing, research and information technology. The knowledge and experience you gain will contribute to the knowledge base for nursing practice. For BN (Hons) graduates who are interested in a career in research, achievement of a First Class or Second Class Division 1 Honours provides a direct entry to the PhD program.
