60 seconds with graduate: Garry Trinh
Garry Trinh studied a Bachelor of Visual Communications at Bankstown campus and graduated in 1998. Now an artist working in photography, he was recently commissioned by Western Sydney Parklands Trust and the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia to create a series of artistic projects that portray the changing identity of the Western Sydney Parklands.
What are you doing now?
I am a visual artist in the medium of photography. I also work for the online creative publishing platform au.blurb.com as its Creative Community Manager.
Best UWS experience or memory?
During my time studying at UWS I woke up every morning with a huge smile on my face. I was taught and was learning exactly what I wanted to learn. They were three of the best years of my life.
What will we find you doing when you are not working/studying?
I am a visual artist, so I am always working.

Find work in an industry I am passionate about. It also helped me to achieve my dreams.
Advice to current UWS students?
