Marketing and Communication
The UWS Office of Public Affairs leads activity to develop the image, branding, positioning and marketing of the University. It integrates all UWS activities related to marketing including student recruitment. It ensures effective promotion of the University through development of strong and positive relationships with government, business, industry and the community generally and maintains ongoing linkage of the University with the region, regional interests and regional communities.
The Office of Public Affairs will participate in forward planning for the University and, via the Director Public Affairs, will provide executive level advice and counsel to the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, University Secretary and the Board of Trustees on political or public issues that concern the positioning of the University and its effective marketing, ensuring its desired strategic position is clearly communicated internally and externally.
