About us

The Office of the University Legal Counsel is responsible for the provision of legal advice and services to the University, including the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor and other senior executives and officers of the University.

Although, OULC is located within the Division of Corporate Strategy and Services and provides advice and services exclusively for the University, we do so in an independent capacity in a way that complies with professional standards of conduct applicable to members of the legal profession.
